More Than One Way

See Our YouTube Channel! As my grandson Beckett is quick to point out through his actions, there is more than one way to achieve a goal. Here is ONE example out of the many he has taught Granddad Charlie! You may even enjoy what “NOT My Grandson” can add to this!

How often do YOU get stuck, seeing only one way to achieve your goals? For some reason a roadblock slams in front of you and you feel your world has come to an end. But has it? Isn’t there always another way to achieve your goal? So many life lessons to learn!

But what does Beckett do? He turns around and teaches life lessons: he finds another way to solve the problem. It’s all new to him, so trying something new is just one more adventure in his daily routine! And nothing like having his granddad Charlie around to watch it all happen.

So next time you see a set of stairs and think there’s only one way to get up and down them, remember this lesson from the toddler who is not afraid to get his diaper bounced down a set of stairs! Slide on, Beckett!

New Video Episode published each Thursday. See how these life lessons impact YOU too!

And whether you write it grandad or granddad, Granddad Charlie Seymour Jr learns life lessons from his grandson Beckett every time they are together. They have fun together and Beckett will always know that his Granddad loves him and played an important role in his early development.

Beckett is still too young to share any grandson quotes but grandson quotes and sayings are big these days and we’ll be sure to share them when available! He IS good at sharing life lessons, as you can see through these video lessons.

  1. Trying to type through teary eyes isn’t easy! This was so sweet and hlaetfret. I’m feeling the same emotions about my grands, they are both out of high school now and I see all those past years in my mind every time I look at them. A grandmothers love is bottomless, isn’t it?

  2. First of all I want to say awesome blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you do not
mind. I was interested to know how you center yourself
and clear your head before writing. I have had a hard
time clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out. I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the
first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be wasted just trying to figure out how to begin.
Any recommendations or hints? Many thanks!

    • Here’s what I do… maybe it will help: I keep LOTS of pads of paper all over the place. Any time I have an idea, I jot it down. That way my mind is working on the next article, post, or video a long time before I actually go to create it.

Maybe that will help you too?

  3. Hi! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering if you knew where I
could get a captcha plugin for my comment form?
I’m using the same blog platform as yours and I’m having
difficulty finding one? Thanks a lot!

  4. Greetings from California! I’m bored to death at work so I decided to browse
your website on my iphone during lunch break.
I really like the info you provide here and can’t wait to take a look when I get home.
I’m shocked at how fast your blog loaded on my mobile ..

I’m not even using WIFI, just 3G .. Anyways, fantastic site!

    • I wish I could say my site ALWAYS loads quickly – it seems the just as I need to make a change to a post and have to get “inside” my site, it runs slowly.

But some of the reason it runs quickly to SEE my posts is because I use a pretty effective caching system. Always quicker to see a post that has been cached.

Thanks for looking at our site!
