TURN THE TV OFF

See Our YouTube Channel where you can subscribe to every new episode! This was a lesson that granddad Charlie learned VERY quickly when his grandson Beckett visits: Turn off the TV and enjoy Beckett when he comes. Don’t let the TV be a babysitter. Watch him, learn from him, love him. Time together is so short, so pay attention now!

Charlie rearranged his schedule and watches Beckett each Thursday morning (how do you think he gets all the ideas for this Video Series!??). And the TV is OFF. There are so many things to do throughout the main level of the house that Beckett doesn’t need a TV to babysit him. Ever. At least not at Grammy and Granddaddy’s house!

OK… it’s not fair to compare what a granddad babysitter should do vs what a parent can do. Beckett is really hard to keep up with: he’s such an active kid and loves to play, but he can be exhausting! Is it any wonder that only young people have kids? They need to have enough energy to keep up with these toddlers.

So… when you CAN, Turn Off The TV – get to know your grandchild! It may be exhausting, but you’ll both learn about each other when you do!

New Video Episode published each Thursday. See how these lessons impact YOU too!

And whether you write it grandad or granddad, Granddad Charlie Seymour Jr learns life lessons from his grandson Beckett every time they are together. They have fun together and Beckett will always know that his Granddad loves him and played an important role in his early development.

Beckett is still too young to share any grandson quotes but grandson quotes and sayings are big these days and we’ll be sure to share them when available! He IS good at sharing life lessons, as you can see through these video lessons.
